THE PURPOSE                                                      
We serve the needs of children in Israel who have been born with CHD, Congenital Heart Disease. There are many children born in areas that are under the Palestinian Authority who do not have access and the necessary funds to receive medical treatment for CHD.  Most of these children, if left untreated, will die before the age of 20. With some basic and intentional intervention these children can obtain life saving open heart surgeries in Israel by the hands of highly skilled doctors and surgeons.

WHAT WE DO
We assist in communication between West Bank children's family members and
 Israeli doctors and facilitate the children's travel to Israeli hospitals.

In addition, we meet the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of the accompanying family member(s) who travel with the children, and are required to stay within the hospital at all times. Upon discharge we provide the transportation necessary to return the children and families to their homes, located within the Palestinian Authority.

We also help offset the cost of the surgery 
While many volunteer their time, the costs of the operation room, equipment, the medication, anesthesia, as well as transportation costs of the child need to be covered.
